[edit]This page has serious errors. The bio describes Robert Carter III, grandson of Robert "KIng" Carter, richest man in North America. This connection is important to an understanding of his biography.—Preceding unsigned comment added by 209.209.195.246 (talk • contribs) July 24, 2005
I've revised the page extensively, but can't find the citation in Levy's book for the quote in the letter to Mrs. Maund. I don't know how to do the citation needed bit so it shows in blue next to the quote, and I'm far away from the archives that hold his papers. I also haven't been able to yet locate the Swedenborgian history, which is another possible source, and which might enable me to break down the final years section (I know the priest returned to the Episcopal Church but don't know if Carter did as well, only that Swedenborgians always opposed slavery). Finally, I know the citation for the final legal case is wrong, since it has no title, but again am not in a location where I can correct it.Jweaver28 (talk) 15:05, 21 May 2013 (UTC)
Robert Carter Nicholas
[edit]I just removed the hyperlink for Robert Carter Nicholas, because it redirected to a page about "Robert C. Nicholas," who was a Louisiana-born senator in the early 19th century, obviously not the same person as the cousin of Robert Carter III, who currently does not have a wikipedia page. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 65.207.107.5 (talk) 13:54, 24 January 2019 (UTC)
