A fact from Robert-Georg Freiherr von Malapert appeared on Wikipedia's Main Page in the Did you know column on 8 November 2010 (check views). The text of the entry was as follows:
Does not meet WP:SOLDIER & sig RS coverage not found link, just passing mentions and / or non RS. Article cited to WP:QS catalogues of Knight's Cross winners (Obermaier) and "Stuka Aces" (Brutting).
No de.wiki article & no NDB entry link. Commanded a sub-unit of a dive bomber wing and topped out at Captain. The list of "Stuka-Aces" has recently been deleted for lack of group notability and because the concept of a such an "ace" does not exist. Please see AfD: List of highly-decorated German pilots of ground attack aircraft.
Please also see a note at MilHist Talk Archives for background behind the redirect. In summary, per the outcome of the discussion at Notability:People on notability of Knight's Cross recipients: permalink, certain recipients were deemed non notable and WP:SOLDIER has been modified accordingly: diff. The articles of these recipients are being redirected to alphabetical lists.
