The result of the move request was: Robbie Moore (MP) Moved to Robbie Moore (politician), Robbie Moore moved to Robbie Moore (ice hockey), and Robbie Moore redirected to Robert Moore.(non-admin closure) FOARP (talk) 09:34, 16 August 2024 (UTC)
Robbie Moore (MP) → Robbie Moore (politician) – This seems to be the standard disambiguator. GnocchiFan (talk) 12:59, 7 July 2024 (UTC) — Relisting. NightWolf1223 <Howl at me•My hunts> 14:35, 14 July 2024 (UTC) — Relisting. Frost (talk) 11:33, 21 July 2024 (UTC)
- Is nationality needed? There appears to only be 1 politician so would Robbie Moore (politician) do? Crouch, Swale (talk) 17:09, 8 July 2024 (UTC)
- @Crouch, Swale: You're right; I've amended this now. (For anyone wondering, my initial proposal was Robbie Moore (British politician)). GnocchiFan (talk) 18:13, 8 July 2024 (UTC)
- Support per nom. Back to the original title from which it was incomprehensibly moved in 2019. -- Necrothesp (talk) 10:33, 9 July 2024 (UTC)
- Also support moving Robbie Moore to Robbie Moore (ice hockey) and creating a dabpage at basename. -- Necrothesp (talk) 12:16, 16 July 2024 (UTC)
- Move to Robbie Moore and move Robbie Moore to Robbie Moore (ice hockey). Only two people of the name so a disambiguation page isn't needed. Whilst a primary topic isn't overwhelmingly obvious, the MP seems to be the one of the higher profile judging by Google results and the pageviews graph. - Relisting comment: Could I get some opinions on Chessrat's suggestion? NightWolf1223 <Howl at me•My hunts> 14:35, 14 July 2024 (UTC)
- Move to Robbie Moore per Chessrat, appears WP:PRIMARY TOPIC based on overwhelming page views. However, that article probably should be alerted on the actual article, as it isn't technically under this proposal. Otherwise would support the original proposal, as "MP" is not commonly or internationally regarded as "member of parliament" for many international readers, as well as WP:CONSISTENT as "politician" is the standard dab unless the role is the only option (like MP vs MSP). - Relisting comment: Should there be a disambiguation page at the base name? Frost (talk) 11:33, 21 July 2024 (UTC)
- Support per nomination. MPs listed under Category:UK MPs 2024–present are indeed disambiguated as "(politician)", rather than as "(MP)". Regarding the need for a parenthetical qualifier, both Robbie Moore (MP)/Robbie Moore (politician) and Robbie Moore/Robbie Moore (ice hockey) are named "Robert", thus would support initiating a move of Robbie Moore → Robbie Moore (ice hockey) and redirecting Robbie Moore to the Robert Moore disambiguation page. —Roman Spinner (talk • contribs) 23:53, 21 July 2024 (UTC)
