While Harry Parke played the "Parkyakarkus" character between 1936 and 1945, he doesn't appear in this 1934 short. The star is George Givot (1903-1984), using the name "Gus Parkyurkarkus." Givot only used that character name in this movie. Note that the spelling is different from Parke's. Info is from IMDB.

Incidentally, Givot was from Omaha NE. His Greek accent was probably as real as the Italian accent of Chico Marx.
