I have noticed Welsh-first signage in "East" Wales, and also - conversely - English-only signage in Cardiff. I would imagine all new signage is bilingual and probaly with the Welsh text first. The article should be amended to mention this if anyone has more concrete information. As an English speaker who still hopes to speak Welsh some day, I nevertheless understand expressions like "Arafwch nawr", "Twmpathau", "Pant cudd" etc and sometimes, after a visit to Wales, find myself translating the signs in England which are of course only in English :) Rugxulo (talk) 22:09, 6 October 2017
I think we need to see a section on the history of Wales's bilingual road signs - when was bilingualism formally introduced, what did road signs look like prior to the change of law, how has the law changed etc. (Also, did Welsh language place names ever appear on road signs in the past, even when the place also had a English name?
