[edit]Road Safety Audits are not a UK-only technique. My understanding is (like roundabouts) they were conceived in the U.S., tehn neglected by the birth parents while being raised by U.K. and Austrailian foster-parents, and are now returning to their county of birth. There is talk of requiring Road Safety Audits for US federal-aid highway projects.
The article needs a definition. Triskele Jim (talk) 16:45, 26 June 2008 (UTC)

[edit]A previous editor put these statements in the body of the article. My guess is they were good-faith efforts - something he or she wanted to come back and finish later. So, rather than deleting them entirely, I've moved them here:
- Refer Austroads Guide to Road Safety Part 6 Road Safety Audit, (2009)
- Refer Austroads Guide to Road Safety Part 8 Treatment of Crash Locations, (2009)
