The result of the move request was: move the dab page as requested (rather than simply deleting it), because it is cheap to keep it and deleting it would also entail the deletion of this discussion. Also, moving Riverview, Hillsborough County, Florida to Riverview, Florida, per the discussion below. Dekimasuよ! 21:11, 15 August 2018 (UTC)
Riverview, Florida → Riverview, Florida (disambiguation) – This disambiguation page lists three places in Florida called "Riverview"; one of these (Hillsborough County) has a population of 71,050. The other two do not have articles about them, and the only articles that link to either of them do so to note one intersection on US 90. Because of this, I believe that Riverview, Hillsborough County, Florida is the primary meaning of "Riverview, Florida", and therefore either the disambiguation page should be deleted or (at minimum) "Riverview, Florida" should redirect to Riverview, Hillsborough County, Florida and that Riverview, Florida (disambiguation) should be linked to in a "See also" headnote on that page. In order for this change to occur, Riverview, Florida (disambiguation) needs to be an actual disambiguation page, rather than a redirect to one. Butterboy (talk) 15:53, 8 August 2018 (UTC)

- Comment – Given that there are other places by the same name, but they are not mentioned, it would be good to be able to convey that info some place. Perhaps a hat note such as This article is about a place in Hillsborough County, Florida; smaller places by the same name exist in Duval County, Florida, and Escambia County, Florida. - I agree they should be mentioned but hatnotes, like dab pages, normally lead to other articles containing info on the topic. Those two bluelinks don't even mention Riverview in passing. We could just add a sentence at the end of the lead paragraph, something like There are two unrelated places also named Riverview in Florida, in Duval County and Escambia County. - Riverview in Duval County (basically, Jacksonville), appears to merely be a neighborhood. It should probably be mentioned in Neighborhoods of Jacksonville, which would then be the appropriate hatnote target. There is also a "Riverview Park" mentioned on List of parks in Jacksonville, Florida. As for Escambia County, the closest thing I can find is a Riverview Apartments, which is large enough that someone could have mistaken it for a neighborhood. bd2412 T 13:40, 10 August 2018 (UTC)
