Eisler Brothers and 'Cars (film)'

[edit]
"Famous Eisler Brothers Country Store in Riverton, mentioned in the credits for the movie Cars."

Um, there's a reason why this place was mentioned in Cars (film)... that's where John Lasseter and Joe Ranft of Pixar met Dean Walker of the Kansas Route 66 association, who told them about the Ghostlight and showed them how he could twist his feet around to walk backward. Of course, the corresponding 'Cars' character would drive backward... because he's a truck. Mater (Cars), anyone? One of multiple influences for the character (the truck itself is at the Kan-O-Tex Service Station just down the road in Galena, Kansas) and the background is already cited and sourced in Mater's article here if y'all reckon it worth a mention? 2001:5C0:1000:A:0:0:0:831 (talk) 02:40, 1 September 2012 (UTC)[reply]
