I'm afraid I have to disagree with the geography of this article as I find it highly inaccurate in regards to where the author finds the actual river to be. The source of the river isn't in Wanborough, it is nearly five miles from there in Swindon at the springs which fed the old Wilts and Berks Canal at Marshgate. The precise location is unknown as much of the upper course has been culverted and built over. The first signs of it's existance can be seen just prior to entering the Greenbridge retail park where it flows easterly through.From there it is culverted, across to Oxford Rd where it turns south for approximately three quarters of a mile. At the Piccadilly roundabout it turns abruptly east and skirts the Coleview Estate. It flows east past Covingham and under Merlin Way through the flood marsh and out under the A419, from there it snakes it way across the easterly Earlsgate area into Oxfordshire , eventually linking at the Thames near the A417 bridge east of Lechlade.82.11.46.112 (talk) 01:33, 29 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]
