What's the mention of stealth and Thorpe Park all about?

I have no idea what that is about, so I removed it as it seemed totally unrelated. --Vulk 20:23, 22 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Stealth was mentioned due to it being Rita's main rival.Coaster Kid 19:34, 18 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

yeah - this anti-Stealth stuff seems a bit much really - they are obviously very different rides. Rexcentum 15:30, 30 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Propose editing all Stealth references out of article, as it is questionable in its relevance and is definitely biased. The comparative intensity of these rides is not at question, and no argument for Stealth being more intense is provided. Terraval 01:14, 10 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Thorpe Park and Alton towers are owned by the same group of companies, so I think it's appropriate for comparison of two similar rides built at similar times by the same company. Tezp 14:55, 28 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I'm pretty sure that Alton Towers said it's called Rita after a member of staff at the park who had recently retired. Will find a source if possible & add it to the entry. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 86.174.21.176 (talk) 20:53, 11 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Contradictions

[edit]

The introduction says that the ride accelerates to a speed of 61.1 mph in a time of 2.5 seconds. The next section says that it accelerates to 62 mph in 2.5 seconds. The table on the right gives 62 mph in 2.3 seconds. Which is it?! Fly by Night (talk) 15:11, 13 August 2013 (UTC)  Done[reply]
