RKK Member
[edit]Hello. I am a member of Rissho Kosei-kai. The information provided on the main article page is scattered. I am currently working on a new version, with of course citations, that will be better organized than the current one. I have noticed that some one else has been editing the page as well, thank you for your help...may I ask, are you a member of RKK? I am very (repeat very) new. Any how if anyone has questions please contact me, I know about (on a scale of 1-10, 10 being everything) level 6, but I am carefully researching all info before posting the article. I will post the better orgizated article on November 15 (Nikkyo's 101st birthday!) Thank you. --Greenwood1010 14:12, 1 November 2007 (UTC)

[edit]Hello. I am the one who has made the recent edits and redone this page. I am a member of Rissho Kosei-kai and saw that this article was not very organized. Therefore I have tried to organize it and use as many references as I could. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Greenwood1012 (talk • contribs) 04:37, 15 February 2010 (UTC)
why no info on the Nichiren aspect?
[edit]the article is categorized as part of Nichiren Buddhism and sure enough Nichiren Buddhism article names this sect as one of the varieties. But there is no further discussion of it here. 76.119.30.87 (talk) 04:11, 11 February 2012 (UTC)
- From what I can tell (based on limited experience), it is based in the teachings of the Lotus Sutra, and inherits some practices from Nichiren Budhism, but isn't Nichiren Buddhism per se. I'll see if I can clarify that. --Ph0kin (talk) 03:59, 21 July 2014 (UTC)
References
[edit]All but three of the references are from Rissho Kosei-kai itself or an affiliate. Could we find some references that aren't just the organization touting itself? Helpsome (talk) 01:33, 24 April 2013 (UTC)
- I've been looking for resources too, but it's surprisingly difficult to find. Rissho Kosei Kai doesn't seem large enough or controversial enough to really grab attention from scholars and such. That's just personal opinion, but for what it's worth, I haven't been able to find any resources so far outside its own publications. I'm still looking though. --Ph0kin (talk) 04:02, 21 July 2014 (UTC)
Added two references including some minor changes … not much but it is start. --Catflap08 (talk) 04:21, 22 July 2014 (UTC)
