I found the following material in Hansard. These Bills appear to be the precursors of the Act. I will leave this material here until I decide what to do with it.James500 (talk) 07:11, 16 August 2011 (UTC)[reply]

COMPENSATION FOR DAMAGES BILL. [Bill 120]

No 50

LOSSES BY RIOT (COMPENSATION) BILL.— [BILL 209.]

LOSSES BY RIOT COMPENSATION BILL No. 156

The effect of section 164(4) of the Copyright, Designs and Patents Act 1988 is that the amendment of an Act cannot create a new copyright in that Act. The tag that has been placed on this article should be removed. I can supply further objections if need be. James500 (talk) 01:04, 9 September 2011 (UTC)[reply]

I should also point out that this Act is an edict of government (which term includes those of foreign governments), whether amended or not, and is therefore in the public domain in the United States, regardless of its status anywhere else. James500 (talk) 04:09, 9 September 2011 (UTC)[reply]
