I went ahead and fixed the date format to mdy (since this is an American singer).

Passes Earwig check. Spot check: 3, 9, 10, 13, 18, 20, 25, 26, 30 - no issues.

The two began to message each other through Myspace, discussing their similar musical interests. This sentence cites ref. 7, which does not mention Myspace or the messages.

I have no issues here- the article length is sufficient for someone whose life and career were relatively short. I initially thought some of the details in the Early life section were trivial, but they all connected to something mentioned later on.
