Talk:Right to manage
This page was proposed for deletion by Bencherlite (talk · contribs) on 7 June 2007 with the comment: Wikipedia is not a how-to guide It was contested by Jnlowe (talk · contribs) on June 11, 2007 with the comment: Removed proposal to delete. The article is maybe too heavy on 'how to', but covers an important topic not previously covered in Wikipedia. Improving would be better than deleting. |

Lacks objectivity
[edit]This article is clearly biased against RTM groups and should be and could be written more objectively. This is clearly apparent under the "Advantages" section where more disadvantages are clearly posited. Also, numerous spelling errors.DarcieZ (talk) 20:42, 23 June 2012 (UTC)DarcieZ
Agree. Many opinion pieces, for example:
Under the section "Reasons to use Right to Manage":
"1. To reduce service charges. Wrong - "
"2. To gain control of who to use as a manager for your block of flats. Wrong again - "
"In fact it is difficult to envisage a scenario where RTM is a worthwhile course of action"
Under the section "The Notice of Claim": "You really must engage a professional company to produce this otherwise you can jeopardise the entire process."
Under the section "Where any party to be served with the claim notice is not traceable": "Best always to use professional company who specialises in right to manage"
And as mentioned under Advantages, one of the those listed is a disadvantage! — Preceding unsigned comment added by 84.246.168.11 (talk) 16:09, 22 July 2013 (UTC)
