Marriage Edits

[edit]

Ridge and Taylor did not get married in 2009 (the wedding was stopped by Brooke Logan on crashed it "literally" with her horse). They where married from 1994-1998 and 1998-2006. Ridge and Brooke however did get married both In 1998 (briefly, due to the whole pregnancy mix up), 2004 (Australia Jungle when he was kidnapped by Sheila) and 2005 (Sandy Beach after she found out RJ was his son). Most recently they married in 2009 (which was invalid, thank you Stephanie), and 2009-2011 (divorced). Someone keeps adding fantasy marriages but not the actual events that take place. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 2601:8:800:2DA:7DA1:C5B7:5148:7DC6 (talk) 00:19, 10 March 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Anticipating late developments

[edit]

In addition to this article's many other problems (including overlength), it makes the mistake of identifying too early that Massimo is Ridge's father. Viewers didn't learn this until 2001, and there's no reason to pretend that the writers had this in mind from the very beginning. Revising history is the privilege of soap writers, but not of Wikipedia editors. Ridge is Eric's son until it is revealed otherwise. -- JustinSpurlin (talk) 13:42, 31 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Condensing an overlong article

[edit]

I condensed this article considerably, but it is still on the longish side. I entreat future editors to be parsimonious when adding new material as the show progresses. We don't need to know every detail of every storyline, and we certainly don't need to have the same information repeated over and over and over. -- JustinSpurlin (talk) 07:09, 1 August 2011 (UTC)[reply]

§== Peculiar changes ==

Recent changes. Why were the parents removed from the text box? Why was the change made in the parenthetical note? Massimo is already mentioned later in the article. The change in the note about Ridge's paternity is especially unnecessary because it falsely implies that the 2001 storyline revealed something that the writers had in mind from the beginning. The way the sentence was before correctly suggests Ridge's new paternity was a retcon. The article has too few out-of-universe references already. There's no need to take one away, especially when other editors (quite defensibly) have wanted to delete this article altogether.-- JustinSpurlin (talk) 03:25, 13 August 2011 (UTC)[reply]

FYI “ tells Ridge that he is no longer is son” Should be “his som”
