Change of event
[edit]I would suggest adding to the detail in 2022 the event was taken over by Baycrest Health for Bike for Brain Health.

- It seems like (perhaps because of Covid or sponsorship issues?) that the Ride for Heart became a distributed, virtual event, with people pledging and riding individually (or simply being 'active') in small groups at locations/routes of their choosing. Another charity ride on the traditional day and route of the Ride for Heart (first Sunday in June on the Don Valley/Gardiner Expressway) has been organized by Baycrest Health from 2022 (and scheduled for 2024). It's unclear to me how related the two are (was there overlap of organizers or a complete change of organization?).
- We could probably add something to the article, properly sourced, about the change in the Ride for Heart and how a related event (B4BH) took over the Don Valley route. Or alternatively, we could have this article focus on the annual Don Valley/Gardiner Expressway ride (which is probably more notable/newsworthy) with an appropriate title change and the article shifting focus from R4H to B4BH in 2021/2022.
- I've got too much on my plate right now to work on a thorough expansion of this, but I could put it on my to-do list for next year's event. – Reidgreg (talk) 15:43, 6 June 2023 (UTC)
