Asking for money to pay for Hayward's medical bills

[edit]

While I'm hugely sympathetic, this is an encyclopedia, and we can't ask for money from readers to pay for any outside causes. Unless someone here can prove to me that it's OK within WP policy, I'm going to remove the link. Hayward has had a lifetime of illness, motorcycle crashes, and has seen Lowell George pass away without having made a will for his child, etc. so I'm sure like any other person he could have planned for the worst. That being said, (and I know it sounds cruel but we all must face certain issues) does anyone have any input? --Leahtwosaints (talk) 01:27, 8 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Somewhat too late a reply, but I agree totally with your comments. Wikipedia is never the time nor place for such linkage (whatever the circumstances).
