[edit]Richard is my dad, and I wrote that bio with him, and orpheus happens to have it on their website. it is not copyrighted, and neither are either of pictures on this page. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by Mrjazzguitar (talk • contribs) 19:12, February 9, 2007 (UTC).
- That may be so, but you still need to review the Wikipedia Copyright Policy. -- Whpq 19:48, 9 February 2007 (UTC)
There is no conflict of interest here. This bio is used in all professional programs at concerts all over the world, and is completely neutral. It is NOT opinionated at all, and is an official biography. The copyright policy is insignificant, as nothing presented on this page is copyrighted. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by Mrjazzguitar (talk • contribs) 21:37, February 9, 2007 (UTC).
- It all has to do with Wikipedia's GFDL license, and TINLA, and I don't understand it, but I believe it's possible for the copyright holder to perform the right kind of word magic and, um... release rights, or something. It's something about how Wikipedia content can be freely reused and redistributed, and... something. There's a page full of people who know all about this at WP:CP. -GTBacchus(talk) 22:33, 9 February 2007 (UTC)
