[edit]Mr. Pavlicek is a well known world class bridge player, teacher, author of a VERY nice web site www.RPbridge.net . He deserves to be a part of Wikipedia. Even the worst guys have a place HERE, why not Richard Pavlicek ?
- There needs to be reliable sources confirming Mr Pavlicek's notability. ... discospinster talk 16:34, 2 March 2009 (UTC)
- While this article might be spam, it appears that Mr. Pavlicek is notable. Here are some references. I'll be adding them as I found more.OlYellerTalktome 16:45, 2 March 2009 (UTC)
These seem like useful links, but they'd be more useful in the article itself. I've added these three there; perhaps you could continue. Accounting4Taste:talk 16:49, 2 March 2009 (UTC)
- I think my first action will be to make sure this doesn't come of as spam (deletions of weasel words etc.). I'll add some info and the links after that unless you have any objections. OlYellerTalktome 16:51, 2 March 2009 (UTC)
- Looks like you made the exact same edits I was going to. I'll get on the refs now. OlYellerTalktome 16:57, 2 March 2009 (UTC)
- here is the search I used to find references. I only got through page one of four but found four refs in the first page. OlYellerTalktome 16:58, 2 March 2009 (UTC)
Yes, sorry if I've stepped in front of you -- I am familiar with this individual from his writing (his book is very useful) and wanted to help by getting rid of the weasel words. However I have to go offline soon so I will leave it to you. Accounting4Taste:talk 16:59, 2 March 2009 (UTC)
- No worries. Thanks for the help. I hate to see articles get deleted because no one took the 5-10 minutes to find some references. Thanks again for the help. OlYellerTalktome 17:05, 2 March 2009 (UTC)
