In July 7, 2013 Nanula resigned from his positions as chairman of Miramax and at the private equity firm Colony Capital, after two websites published video images of a man identified as Nanula having sex with adult film actress Samantha Saint.[1]
There are additional allegations that he he also hired porn-stars Sarah Shevon and Penny Pax, as well. [2]
"Richard Nanula is no longer on personal leave from Colony Capital, Miramax and other related companies. He has now completely severed his ties with the international investment bank, where he was a partner, and the movie company, where he was chairman, a spokesperson for Colony Capital confirmed to The Hollywood Reporter on Sunday." [3] He took a leave of absence when the scandal broke out, but gossip websites state he resigned afterwards. LA Times is pretty factual and is the most recent news outlet to report on this situation. But instead of adding he resigned, I would say he is no longer employed at those companies, until more details emerge (hopefully) that state he actually resigned. I'll search for more sources. --Guat6 (talk) 22:14, 3 September 2013 (UTC)[reply]
