lukewarm
[edit]Even though I think Time Sharing is an excellent book, I thought I should include in my sentence about the NYT review that it was "lukewarm." Maybe i should have said "harsh", but I want to keep npov, which seems worse than with lukewarm. Lukewarm could be taken as subjective too, but the bare statement of a book review in nyt without Lukewarm" sounds like an endorsement. Suggestions?Rich (talk) 00:03, 3 January 2008 (UTC)
article becoming resume-like
[edit]I respect Krawiec's writing, but it's beginning to sound like a resume. I don't want to remove valuable information, but the information about him needs to be phrased less glowingly.Rich (talk) 08:23, 13 May 2008 (UTC)
I went into the article and tried to make the language more neutral. But I'm not really sure how to handle this. People go to an encyclopedia to find out what someone has accomplished. I checked other author biographies in wikipedia and honestly can't understand why my page is considered less neutral than, say, the entries on Toni Morrison or Cormac McCarthy, or dozens of other writers whose pages don't feature a single reference to negative reviews. None of those writers have their entries flagged for lack of neutrality.
I'm not trying to give you a hard time, I'm just trying to understand. I've run this by other writers, who are in wikipedia, and they don't understand why my page is singled out either.
I'd like to see the flag removed.
I appreciate your taking the time to read this. richard krawiec —Preceding unsigned comment added by 71.120.192.152 (talk) 15:42, 5 March 2009 (UTC)
