Fun fact: Misspelled lettering of Shakespeare

[edit]

While recently playing the game ‘L.A. Noire’, which is set in 1947 Los Angeles, I noticed a misspelling of the lettering ‘Shakespeare’ on the public library tower (Shakspeare).

At first I thought that the game developers had made a mistake, but after doing some research it turned out that the lettering is authentic, as it also contains a spelling mistake in reality.

I just find this fact very interesting - it's a shame that it's not mentioned in the article. 2003:E6:3725:BD00:1943:8033:59D6:E4AA (talk) 15:21, 25 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]
