Hurndall in The Two Doctors

[edit]

In case anybody is wondering, this bit of information was reverted because, well, it's completely untrue. The Two Doctors was always planned to featured Troughton and Hines, because both of them had enjoyed their turns so much in The Five Doctors. If there had been any intention to use Hurndall and/or Ford, it is very unlikely that it would not have been mentioned in any of the authoritative reference works like The Television Companion or The Handbook. On top of that, the idea that the script had to be changed "mere days" before shooting due to Hurndall's death is also wrong, since Hurndall died in April 1984 and shooting on The Two Doctors did not begin until 9 August 1984 in Spain. --khaosworks (talkcontribs) 22:57, 27 October 2005 (UTC)[reply]

This is probably some bizarre mutation of the old fan myth that Frontios was to have been partially shot in black and white with Hurndall as the First Doctor for some sort of flashback element. Angmering 23:15, 27 October 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Question

[edit]

Is he in any way related to William Hurndall, who plays Ike Clanton in The Gunfighters (1966)? 101090ABC (talk) 13:57, 12 June 2012 (UTC)[reply]
