[edit]Richard Hetherington b Aug. 21 1799 m Nov 15 1821 to Mary Grearson b Aug 1799 d Jan 18 1829 had 2 sons James G. Hetherington of Johnston,Queens Co. N.B. John Hetherington of Chipman Parish Queens Co.
Richard then married:

This is very confusing. As currently phrased, it's not clear who was a Naval Captain, who was a Lieutenant in 1843, and who was President of the Virgin Islands Council. House of Commons Sessional Papers 1818 Vol XVII p 123-4 names Andrew Anderson (whose wife was Hannah Hetherington) as President of the Council 94.195.138.19 (talk) 15:10, 24 February 2014 (UTC).
