Death
[edit]I received the very sad news today that Richard Gordon, a prolific scifi author and a wonderful man, passed away recently in China. The world truely lost a great writer. For any of his fans, I know that he had been contemplating come out with another book in recent years. He still had much to share with the world. David Straub (talk) 01:31, 8 February 2009 (UTC)

Fiction set in Scotland
[edit]While Gordon has never written fictional pieces set in Scotland...
The novel Suaine and the Crow God, though a work of fantasy and science fiction in parts, is also set in different parts of Scotland in two time periods: the Isle of Lewis (Leodhas) in pre-Christian times; and Glasgow in a dystopian future setting.
