B-class

[edit]

Needs photo and just a bit more meat to the article for me to feel comfotable with a "B-class"--203.10.224.58 02:03, 18 January 2007 (UTC)(Loop)[reply]

Rank claim

[edit]

I beleive that the article's claim that General Cavazos is the first Hispanic general is in error. The first Hispanic general was Elwood Richard "Pete" Quesada, who was also the first administrator of the FAA.

Looking at General Cavazos' official bio, it states as per the article, In 1982, Cavazos assumed command of the U.S. Army Forces Command and earned his fourth star, making him the first Hispanic four-star general in the Army.
Looking at Lieutenant General Quesada's official bio, As head of TAC he was promoted to lieutenant general in October 1947 and in November 1948 became special assistant for reserve forces at Headquarters U.S. Air Force.
There is a difference in their ranks, General Cavazos is four star or full General. General Quesada is a three star or lieutenant general which ranks underneath a full general. General Cavazos may be one of the first Hispanic generals but General Quesada's article is technically correct in all its wording. His rack is wrong in his photo

His Purple Heart should be above his MSM. A 4-star with this rookie mistake? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 129.6.180.141 (talk) 16:16, 30 July 2012 (UTC)[reply]
