The real name of the author was Henri Bessiere. The name Richard-Bessiere is the contraction of two authors, Francois Richard and Henri Bessiere. All the books were actually written by Henri Bessiere, Francois Richard being the editor, with a very minor contribution on the texts. Since the second given name of Bessiere was Richard, he decided to keep Richard Bessiere as his official "nom de plume".
