Burmese ancestry
[edit]This article claims Kate Beckinsale's grandfather was maternal Burmese, while the Kate Beckinsale article claims paternal, so which is it? One of these articles is incorrect. Эйрон Кинни (t) 02:13, 25 June 2006 (UTC)
- No - this article states that RICHARD Beckinsale's maternal grandfather was Burmese. He would be one of Kate's two paternal great-grandfathers - not sure how you distinguish the two. (paternal-maternal and paternal-paternal ?) This article is about Richard, not Kate. -- Beardo 05:58, 25 June 2006 (UTC)
- Paternal is the father and child bond, maternal is a mother and child bond, Richards grandmother on the paternal side was a Burmese women who married a British soldier I do believe.86.135.58.219 (talk) 20:55, 4 August 2010 (UTC)
Trivia
[edit]I removed: "And that is a stunning and emotional sing thank you Robbie..." from the article. Nice sentiment, but not really relevent. 86.144.53.116 (talk) 20:26, 30 November 2009 (UTC)
Bafta
[edit]The current article states that Ronnie gave an acceptance speech and appeared distressed about Beckinsale's death. Wouldn't this be the 1978 baftas? The only video I could find shows Sydney Lotterby collecting the bafta, not Ronnie - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qqFuITPxupM (best sitcom announcement starts at 1.33). Ronnie collects a bafta for best performance (for Going Straight AND the Two Ronnies), but he doesn't give a speech and he doesn't look distressed. Should this be changed? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 220.135.161.215 (talk) 06:45, 26 March 2016 (UTC)
