Contested deletion

This article should not be speedily deleted for lack of asserted importance because... an obituary in the New York Times is a demonstration of notability. There is work to be done on the article, but it is recently created with much sourcing for expansion. --Thriley (talk) 06:01, 16 October 2021 (UTC)[reply]
