I realise that the subject of this article is a highly specialised area and has terminology consistent with that, but it really is gobbledegook. It also reads as if it has been "lifted" from one source but I cannot be bothered checking for plagiarism because my brain is rotting from just trying to make sense of it all. And I have a double-first from Cambridge, so it is anyone's guess what the "average reader" makes of it all.
I've added a heap of WP links and requests for clarification because I feel WP should not be overly specialist where it can be avoided - at least give people a chance to work out what is being said. Wiktionary might be the correct place for definitions but perhaps a separate article explaining them would do the job nicely. Obviously, I do not possess the knowledge to do either of these things.
