Southern Terminus of the "Fifth Segment"
[edit]Does the fifth segment really rejoin US 1 at the Narragansett Rotary? There are reassurance markers in Wakefield indicating that Route 1A has a concurrency with Route 108 along Kingstown Rd. and then heads into Historic Wakefield via Main Street and Post Rd. before finally rejoining Route 1 at the southern end of its controlled-access freeway section. This additional routing through Wakefield is not signed in many street atlases, but it is described on USRoute1.net and, as I said above, indicated by reassurance markers in Wakefield. In addition, the image in this article shows the routing that extends beyond the Narragansett Rotary. Cheers, Rai•me 20:10, 9 June 2009 (UTC)
