DUMPÉD INFO
[edit]Rho Gem, 62 Gem, HIP 36366, Gliese 274 A
SpT F0V
ELODIE archive shows change in radial velocity of about 1 km/s over ~2000 days, too large for M companion?
=
[edit]WDS J07291+3147B, Gliese 274 B
CPM. Separation ≈ 3 arcsec ≈ 70 AU
Woefully unreferenced
=
[edit]WDS J07291+3147C
Differing proper motion, unrelated
D nearby to C, possibly bound to C. Blah.
=
[edit]WDS J07291+3147E, HIP 36357, Gliese 273.1 (Not to be confused with Gliese 273, Luyten's star)
CPM. Separation ≈ 755 arcsec ≈ 18600 AU
Bound. (0.22 ly! Probably overestimate.)
BY Draconis variable?! ELODIE RV stable so no close comp star, but youth is a possibility. Lick SHK is at about 0.5, comparable to Eps Eri's SHK of ~0.5 = RHK -4.5 or so. So yes, probably young.

[edit]Summary: Rho Gem is a triple system: F0V+M? + K2V
