I think it would be a good idea to include some info about how the bio-control efforts worked out. Or maybe the beetle is not acting like an invasive species, destroying the eco-systems? It would be nice to know more about this. RhinoMind (talk) 16:51, 6 July 2017 (UTC)[reply]
I wanted to know that too, but I couldn't find out. It may be that the introduced beetle failed to thrive. If it had become established I would expect there to be more information available online, this was nearly thirty years ago after all. Cwmhiraeth (talk) 18:11, 6 July 2017 (UTC)[reply]
