Some improvements
[edit]I have now taken the time to make some improvements, but someone still needs to get more external website sources to make the page more authentic in meeting Wiki objectivity standards.

Improving this page
[edit]It would really be nice if someone took the time to improve this page. Try to include some online citations and sources. Then remove the note at the top. Also the views about Yemi and demons (etc) sounds very subjective. I suggest someone tidies it up. I would have done some work here but I am rather busy and just passing by! You can write to me on my talk page by clicking on my Wiki-name below, if you wish to dialogue with me.

I dont mind having Jacob Prasch´s comments being on Wikepedia but I would like to put my side which is what really happened and I did try and edit this in last night but was removed. ¨Jacob Prasch gave Revelation TV an ultimatum to either take Jesse Duplantis off the channel or he will leave so I simply said Thank you for your contributions to date and I wish you well for the future..¨
Thanks,

Hang on, this is not NPOV
[edit]In the Challenges section someone wrote "It beggars belief that a country like the UK claiming to be the centre-piece of democracy would impose restrictions on religious broadcasting but allows pornographic programs to be aired."
As it happens I completely agree, but phrases like 'beggars belief' would not be found in any ordinary encylopedia. So I will change this!
Reverting to previous version due to Vandalism.
Improved accuracy
[edit]Hi, I've changed the sentence about Revelation being 'unique' in producing a high quantity of its own shows by removing the word 'unique' - I haven't suggested that Revelation doesn't produce a lot of its own material, but simply reworded it to take 'unique' out. Previously it was an inaccurate statement, as other channels certainly produce a lot of their own material too (God TV, for example, also "broadcasts a high amount of self-created programming" - even if that is aired alongside a great number of outside shows). Thanks. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 91.105.117.52 (talk) 13:53, 4 October 2008 (UTC)
Tried to make this look more 'professional'
[edit]Hi, I have tried to make the Revelation section look a lot more professional; and would like to thank whomever started this entry, and of course to all positive contributors. Please feel free to discuss any issues here.
Thanks.

Thanks a lot Davilton. I added a bit on the fact that Revelation TV has also included a look into Christian converts who were originally Muslims like Simon Altaf. I thought that part was important since we get to hear a lot about Muslim converts but not of Christian converts from Islam.
Outdated Information
[edit]Forgive my being new to Wiki but the information herein was outdated. Perhaps someone could add the tags or whatever is needed to make it up to Wiki standard? OFCOM lifted the restrictions a while back. 12:06, 23 February 2007 (UTC)Halesowen
Weasel words in criticism section
[edit]Unhealthy use of language, such as "Some worry that"; i.e. who are "some". Classic "weasel words" case, needs citations and attribution to demonstrate that these aren't just POV snuck in. Fourohfour 14:08, 25 February 2007 (UTC)
Revelation tv and Howard Conder in particular; Jacob Prasch comments need to be clarified by Howard Conder please.
[edit]I dont mind having Jacob Prasch´s comments being on Wikepedia but I would like to put my side which is what really happened and I did try and edit this in last night but was removed.

I will try again:
I dont mind having Jacob Prasch´s comments being on Wikepedia but I would like to put my side which is what really happened and I did try and edit this in last night but was removed.
¨Jacob Prasch gave Revelation TV an ultimatum to either take Jesse Duplantis off the channel or he will leave so I simply said Thank you for your contributions to date and I wish you well for the future..¨
Also the refenece to where it says ¨ In light of Prasch leaving the station a number of other presenters and preachers also left, including Bob Mitchell,[15] and The Prophetic Witness Movement.¨, I want to know what is defined as á number´of other presenters also left ? when in actual fact there was only one presenter left and that is the person named in this article, Bob Mitchell. We should know as we run RTV and it would be correct to have the facts. We dont mind all the negative remarks for we have become used to them but it would be nice to have some of the blatant errors (facts) corrected.Howard Conder (talk) 15:38, 17 December 2012 (UTC) Thanks, HowardHoward Conder (talk) 15:38, 17 December 2012 (UTC)
- Thanks for your comments and input, and for respecting Wikipedia's guidelines on editing articles on subjects one is involved with. However, Wikipedia needs authoritative references which are not on Wikipedia itself, it can't quote you from this talk page. We don't even know if you are the real Howard Conder. I'll try and find more facts and references if I have the time and if I remember. I'm not sure what people usually do for proving who people are on Wikipedia, but I think it should be sufficient to publish a tweet from the Twitter account @revelationtv (which we can assume is legitimate) stating clearly that Howard Conder controls the Wikipedia account User:Howardconder111. I could ask others if that would be appropriate.
- It's important that Howard Conder's opinion comes from the right source, to ensure that more misinformation isn't spread. --BurritoBazooka (talk) 22:11, 8 June 2013 (UTC)
External links modified
[edit]Hello fellow Wikipedians,
I have just added archive links to one external link on Revelation TV. Please take a moment to review my edit. If necessary, add {{cbignore}}
after the link to keep me from modifying it. Alternatively, you can add {{nobots|deny=InternetArchiveBot}}
to keep me off the page altogether. I made the following changes:
- Added archive https://web.archive.org/20121203062504/http://bob-mitchell.blogspot.co.uk:80/2011/12/statement-from-bob-mitchell-regarding.html to http://bob-mitchell.blogspot.co.uk/2011/12/statement-from-bob-mitchell-regarding.html
When you have finished reviewing my changes, please set the checked parameter below to true to let others know.
