Anderson was on state circuit court, not federal

[edit]
BD2412 - Hi, I'm answering here for others who may have an interest in the page. Thanks for your correction on Anderson being on the state Circuit Court, not federal. I was interrupted while working on the article and did not have a chance to complete my checks and changes. I have since corrected more information, to note the history of elected and appointed positions. I am trying to correct previous errors, based on a second source of judge profiles. Anderson was a trailblazer in the state in many ways. I think it is significant that he was a partner in an early multiracial law firm, and that he was elected as the first Black MS Supreme Court judge. Cited articles have noted both of these facts - the one about the law firm I had first read in Leventhal's article and will copy the cite from there. So I am still working on making all the details correct.Parkwells (talk) 18:30, 21 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Cannot find a live source for the Leventhal claim of interracial firm so will delete, keeping names.Parkwells (talk) 18:49, 21 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]
