total internal reflection?

Unless I'm much mistaken, such films work by total internal reflection, and the backing is not a series of hemispheres (as stated in the article), but a series of cones, with a 90-degree angle at the top. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 87.194.171.29 (talk) 01:44, 27 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Scotchlite

Scotchlite redirects here. Therefore the article should at least mention what "Scotchlite" is, and establish its relation to the term "Retroreflective sheeting". --BjKa (talk) 09:17, 10 June 2015 (UTC)[reply]
