This article is mostly a translation of the French article: "Retour des cendres". I am working, irregularly, through the English text, making corrections - there were some important errors - and clarifications from the French text, but leaving the good contributions of the earlier English-language author(s). Some workpoints:
Palmerston is quoted in the French text, translated from English. I have retranslated from the French. The original English text needs to be found.
in "Exhumation" I have translated "serrure à complications" as "combination lock", supposing that this is what is meant (see [1]) or that "complications" (which perhaps should be "complication" - see [2]) is an error for "combinaison".
My retranslation is now completed, bar filling a few gaps in the bibliographical details such as ISBNs. I have added Benhamou's book to the Bibliography, but not to the Sources, since I found it in Fr Wikipedia "Retour des cendres" but it is unclear how far the book - published just a few months ago - has been used there as a source.
