My lengthy personal statement
[edit]Since December I have taken what was a page advertising in store radio and turned it into a page explaining what retail media are, how they are used and where the term has come from. The intention was to create a useful page for people who work within media to understand what the criteria for a medium being classified as a retail medium are and why. Also for an interested bystander to see how retail media work and why. As it has been a fairly complete re-write I feel that I am not sufficiently removed to decide whether I have been sufficiently objective and would like a second opinion. If more fundamental changes are required then suggestions would be very welcome. Otherwise I will continue with incremental changes as time permits.

The page is not marked for speedy deletion, but I like to think it is no longer an advertisment for any particular media or company. As it has kept the marker saying it reads like an advertisment I have added a mention of some companies that use retail media in large part to demonstrate the validity of the grouping "retail media". Like any grouping, it is a way of referring to the whole set rather than a reason to use4 any of the members of the set. I am not sure how much more objective it would be possible to make this. Is there a way to get the page assessed as I posit it no longer reads like an advertiement and now has genuine utility. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 194.1.194.62 (talk) 16:16, 20 January 2009 (UTC)
