Name Correction

[edit]

Yoon Yoon Je's name appeared on a plaque and it read: 윤윤제, so technically it's spelled wrong on here. A lot of the drama websites also got it wrong due to Dramafever and Dramabeans not reading the hangeul first. I made a screenshot as seen here: http://i247.photobucket.com/albums/gg138/kimYunmi/Screen%20Shot%202016-10-21%20at%206.56.28%20AM_zpsbdjvycd3.jpg from episode 14. Correcting in the article. Given that, please also correct it to the right one in the future edits to adhere to wikipedia standards of following correct romanization. --KimYunmi (talk) 13:48, 21 October 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Yoon Yoon Je

[edit]

His name is correctly spelled Yoon Yoon Je. I linked a screen shot. The original linked website also makes it read "Yoon Yoon Je" 윤윤제 is the correct revised spelling of said hangeul as linked. Yoon Yoon Jae is NOT his name. (also can be spelled Yun Yun Je) The hangeul then would be 윤윤재--which is NOT his name.It is 윤윤제. Please follow romanization for wikipedia and follow the revised spelling.--KimYunmi (talk) 23:46, 16 May 2019 (UTC)[reply]

AGAIN... His name is YOON YOON JE. JE. No A in his entire name. The official website for him on TVN links it. The screenshot says it. Stop changing his name to the wrong one. Popular opinion is wrong. OFFICIAL Website always wins.

Here is the text from the official website from the wayback machine:

Here is his name: 윤윤제 Stop trying to change it to the wrong name. IT DOES make a difference. Also, I'm Korean, so it irks me. I also linked episode 14's screencap You can triple check it. --KimYunmi (talk) 05:24, 14 July 2023 (UTC)[reply]

@KimYunmi: One thing to note is that in reality there is no strict one-to-one correspondence between a hangul name and a romanized Korean name. For example,
So the fact that it is originally 제 in hangul does not necessarily mean that its romanized form must be "je". 2607:FB91:8815:D4B7:E41F:50E2:96CE:EB2A (talk) 06:29, 2 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]
You were clearly manipulating another website to have the spelling without the "a". See https://mydra!malist.com/discussions/reply-1997/109271-his-name-is-yoon-yoon-je-not-yoon-yoon-jae (remove ! from the URL). Your edit should be reverted. 121.170.47.13 (talk) 05:20, 13 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]
