Anachronism
[edit]The song mentions a 'meeting in Mayfair' which probably refers to one held by EMI's shareholders on December 7, 1977. The single was released May 1977. The Anarchy Tour must have taken place in 1976. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 75.73.103.154 (talk) 04:00, 26 October 2008 (UTC)
@Doctorhawkes:, please explain why you deleted the citations that used this article from the "SongFacts" website? SF is an established website which has existed since 1999 and the articles are subject to editorial review and therefore meet all the requirements of WP:RS. The site content is based on interviews with the artists and songwriters conducted by the journalists who work for the site, they are not user generated, and the site is used as a reference by countless news organizations (just do a Google News search for SongFacts), so if it's deemed reputable for the likes of ABC News, USA Today, Rolling Stone, E! and Entertainment Weekly, just to sample a few, why wouldn't it be reputable enough for Wikipedia? - The interviews are great and I use them as sources myself. The trivia sections about songs are not, and are often user-generated. I know, as I've contributed to it myself many times. If the information is common knowledge, it will be available from a reputable source. Doctorhawkes (talk) 22:46, 8 May 2019 (UTC)
