Article start

[edit]

I've started this article with the content that was previously in the relocation section of Marine Corps Air Station Futenma. Why? Very similar content was also being written at Camp Schwab and keeping the two in sync and accurate was becoming a challenge. Having a separate article for the relocation of the base follows the lead of both the Japanese and Korean editions. Finally, it is extremely likely there will be further developments in the relocation of Futenma, and it makes the most sense to me to have one place to capture those. Both 2013-current sections

[edit]

These sections need to be consolidated and put into chronological order. It also looks like there is some duplicate or redundant material. Also there is one dubious uncited assertion (given the 1960s plan origin for the bay) Johnvr4 (talk) 02:48, 14 December 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Henoko or Oura Bay

[edit]

Not sure whether Henoko Bay or Oura Bay is the correct name of the bay. Johnvr4 (talk) 20:49, 1 January 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Both OK. It’s Oura Bay in Henoko, called Henoko Bay by simplification. I Know AA-grass of oooooo, so greeeen 06:50, 12 January 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Using the JA Wikipedia page and some others to add kanji & romanization to some names. Let me know if you want the translations formatted differently. Frostedmegawheats (talk) 07:36, 5 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]
