Why isn't there any discussion on this page about (the lack of) experimental support for this therapy?? Certifying your own therapists doesn't mean it's a valid therapy...

When you read Gutstein's writings, it's alarmingly obvious that he's BANG ON THE MONEY. The bits about episodic memory, the problems with emotionally connecting, how lack of motivation is the defining characteristic of AS... all the theory is rock solid (and depressingly unknown in the autistic community) and the philosophy is humane and profound. Does the therapy manage to realise the philosophy? No idea. CalG 04:23, 4 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]
"After four years of research and development..." But there's only one peer reviewed evaluation, and no one was blinded! —Preceding unsigned comment added by 76.179.22.250 (talk) 08:35, 9 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Orphan tag

[edit]

I replaced the orphan tag - there's still only one link to other subtantive articles (autism therapies), the rest are user pages, re-directs, disambiguation. Also removed the 'see also' section as it is already mentioned in the body text (see Wikipedia:Guide_to_layout#See_also). WLU 22:24, 26 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

A lack of references

[edit]

There's an almost complete lack of references, especially in the Major ideas section. I marked this section as unreferenced, and stated where citations seem to be the most needed.--AnEternalSkeptic (talk) 00:09, 4 March 2016 (UTC)[reply]
