Scholarship
[edit]The claim is that they give one to ten thousand US dollars to students who want to study abroad. I don't think it's likely that they'd be giving US currency since this is not in the US (even if the kids are going to the US, I'm sure they'd give yen). JIMp talk·cont 04:58, 27 May 2011 (UTC)
Not so recent
[edit]I have removed the following for lack of notability since, unlike the former title suggested, it's not so recent any more.
Recently Reitaku's name has been in the news as former Japanese Defence Minister [[Fumio Kyuma]] gave a speech at the university on June 30, 2007, in which he said "I understand the [[bombing of Hiroshima and Nagasaki]] brought the war to its end. I think it was something that couldn’t be helped." Kyuma has since stepped down from his post.
