Outdated information (in London, in Cardiff, etc.)?

Current regulation seems to require 'in England and Wales', 'in Wales', 'in Scotland' or 'in Northern Ireland'.

Informal Government guidance gives the following interpretation:

> -- the part of the United Kingdom in which the company is registered (i.e. England and Wales, or Wales, or Scotland, or Northern Ireland)

Perhaps regulation stipulating 'in London' etc. has existed (possibly related to a previous Companies Act), but is no longer in force?
