Someone obviously wants to hide the fact she mostly appeared in softcore movies
[edit]Just look at her imdb page. Movies called Bikini Airways, Bikini Girls form the Lost Planet, Hotel Erotica, Sex Court, Sex Files, Erotic Confessions, etc. Why does this info keep getting replaced with simply "retired actress" on this page? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 71.82.5.132 (talk) 14:19, 30 August 2012 (UTC)
- Policy WP:BLP applies; it's a negative opinion and need a reliable source as to the characterization of these movies. Also, the term is US-centric and outdated. And it's just not that important; and IMDB had the full list. Studerby (talk) 15:37, 30 August 2012 (UTC)
- Or rather, it's only important to people who are interested in presenting this person in a negative light. Just as Wikipedia is not a platform for promotion (self or otherwise), so to it's not a platform for disparagement. We don't publish mugshots generally, especially for folks notable for non-criminal things (see Tom Delay or Glen Campbell - we don't even list Campbell's arrest!!) and we don't publish every negative fact or opinion either. - Who says it's presenting them in a negative light? Plus It's not my opinion that she was in softcore movies. SHE WAS in softcore movies. Sylvester Stallone's page mentions his early work in pornography. Plus it describes him as an actor who primarily works in action roles. Either way, if the term is "Outdated", then so be it. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 71.82.5.132 (talk) 02:32, 31 August 2012 (UTC)
