  • Referencing: What is referencing all the tables, the times and scores and ranks?
  • Need a source for the closing flagbearer.
  • "In addition, Kuwaiti athletes competed under the Olympic flag and the "Independent Olympic Athletes" title as a result of the suspension of the Kuwait Olympic Committee, their national Olympic Committee." Not mentioned in body, source it
  • Could use prose summaries of the competition of each sport, a short paragraph on each of the four would do. Courcelles (talk) 19:29, 15 April 2018 (UTC)[reply]
  • Metro man 27; Any plans to take this up? Courcelles (talk) 01:28, 19 April 2018 (UTC)[reply]

"...Ibrahim Al-Hussein, a Syrian refugee residing in Athens, Greece..." Athens can be wikilinked.

"Raheleh Asemani, an Iranian taekwondo athlete training in Belgium..." Taekwondo can be wikilinked as judoka has been.

In a similar vein, all of the nations mentioned in the Team selection section (Austria, Hungary, Brazil) can be wikilinked.

"The team was led by Loroupe." The use of "led" here kind of leads me to believe Loroupe competed, I assue he was just a team manager of sorts though.

  • Clarified, using the exact term the NYT used.

All of the athlete backstories are touched on, besides from the looks of it Kinde and Anis. Any further info on them?

"...finished 14th adn last in her heat..." Typo here
