"getting there?" 50.59.181.254 (talk) 23:28, 4 October 2014 (UTC)
In the description of the possibility of the possible female refractory period being affected by clitoral hypersensitivity, and "the pain in getting there" the phrase "getting there" sounds pedestrian and slang-like. I would propose "achieving an orgasm" as a substitution.
Rename Books and Other Reports section
Since it deals solely with the possibility of bypassing the refractory period in men, I suggest we name it along those lines, rather than the current unclear title.--RM (Be my friend) 01:48, 23 February 2015 (UTC)
- Reenem, I don't see why we should rename those sections to Bypassing the refractory period, or to something similar. For one, the Factors and theories section is also partly about bypassing the refractory period. For two, if content concerns the same thing, it should be in one section, not split up into individual sections...unless they are needed subheadings. For three, some of these are claims with no scientific support or they have very little scientific support; see WP:Fringe. I have more than once considered pulling some of the content per WP:MEDRS, but the WP:MEDDATE section of WP:MEDRS notes: "These instructions are appropriate for actively researched areas with many primary sources and several reviews and may need to be relaxed in areas where little progress is being made or few reviews are being published." - Combining book claims into the Other studies section was obviously a no-go for me. Flyer22 (talk) 23:32, 17 April 2015 (UTC)
Update: Reenem, I've renamed the section. Flyer22 Reborn (talk) 18:37, 22 December 2015 (UTC)
