What is it?

[edit]

It would be nice to know what it actually is.... --Macrakis (talk) 02:22, 8 June 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Nutrition info: Cream (58%), Skim Milk , Milk Solids, Stabilisers (401, 407). An non-Nestle brand Reduced Cream product lists E401 as a thickener.

Known as elsewhere

[edit]

Nestle sell a product outside of NZ that is called "Room Creme" and has E331 listed as stabiliser that seems to be very similar to the product so often used to make Onion Soup dip.

Chilling the can prior to mixing with the soup mix does seem to eliminate the need to chill the dip itself prior to consumption. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 2A02:A03F:8B1A:9500:39B5:5804:B756:FBD6 (talk) 17:19, 12 March 2022 (UTC)[reply]
