Record label

[edit]

The article doesn't mention the Rediffusion record label. I presume this was a part of the same organisation (a parallel would be Pye, who had a record label and also manufactured things like TV sets). Can something be added in?

Cheque Recognition product

[edit]

I think the statement regarding the inventing of this product may be incorrect, I think the prototype product was brought to the organisation by an external 3rd party, Rediffusion/ROCC invested and further developed it to have something that was marketable but the original idea was someone else’s. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 145.36.235.2 (talk) 08:29, 10 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Rediffusion's cable network

[edit]

The article lacks information about the hardware aspect of Rediffusion's cable TV system. Were cables laid everywhere, or only in selected areas? How did the signal get from the original broadcaster to the cable? Could any TV be adapted to receive the cable signal? What became of the cables - are they still in the ground? Also, there's the legal and commercial aspect: did there need to be some special arrangement with e.g. the BBC to permit re-broadcasting over cable? Dayvey (talk) 00:35, 8 December 2014 (UTC)[reply]

British Relay

[edit]

Why does British Relay redirect to this page? It seems Rediffusion’s cable TV network was separate from British Relay. I would have thought British Relay important enough to have it’s own article. 84.13.101.247 (talk) 11:57, 30 December 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Those ventures

[edit]

Let's merge Associated-Rediffusion#Other ventures into this article. Those ventures were directly under the parent company, not through its London TV station. 180.92.252.252 (talk) 02:21, 12 April 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Rediffusion Music (in-store music)

[edit]

No mention of Rediffusion Music (in-store music)? The company that later partnered with AEI and became AEI Rediffusion Music, then DMX Music, then Mood Media. 2A00:23EE:1278:BC10:969B:292E:FBAB:365B (talk) 00:04, 3 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]

If you can provide a WP:RS then you can add it to the article. Cnbrb (talk) 07:38, 3 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Rediffusion’s Reditune Background Music System

[edit]

Needs some info on the background music system. Currently, I see a video on YouTube to refer to: this one. Best luck. 81.89.66.133 (talk) 06:23, 9 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]
