Closure

[edit]

189.122.141.138 (talk) 03:38, 17 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]

This text gives the impression that the Tupi was closed by the government of Figueiredo for some kind of political persecution and that the Clark is now in Venezuela.
It should be clear that the TV was closed because it failed, drowning in debt millionaire with all kinds of tax levied in the country, whether municipal, state or federal. Failed by managing total incompetence of its leaders after the death of Chateaubriand. Nothing more. The government not only saved her but did nothing to destroy it, on the contrary, which may delayed the recovery of debts - often divided and never renegotiated and paid (see also Headline tv) - from Tupi.

Frequencies

[edit]

It is unclear what is meant by "Channel 2", "Channel 7", etc. Are these VHF frequency bands? Is there a list of those for Brazil? -- Beland (talk) 18:06, 24 April 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Rede Tupi's last moments was found on YouTube

[edit]

YouTube has its video. Rede Tupi's final moments on the air was uploaded by Video Archives Brasil one month ago. This video has featured vigil and a mass with Pope John Paul II at Rio de Janeiro. Just look for it. Rdp060707 (talk) 12:17, 11 August 2020 (UTC)[reply]
